There’s no greater compliment than when former clients call you back again to document other parts of their lives. I had the pleasure of capturing Haley and Jackson’s spring Mellon Park maternity session just a little under a year after I photographed their wedding.

Some highlights of this session are Haley’s stellar outfit choices (duh), Jackon’s “girl dad” hat, and the inclusion of their sweet pup and soon-to-be big sister. Haley brought some props with her–a basket, some flowers, a sonogram photo, and a onesie–and we were able to come up with a number of fun ways to use the items so they could have photos that announced their pregnancy. Mellon Park in Shadyside always shows off as a stunning backdrop with gorgeous gardens, architecture, and the best golden hour light.

Photographing maternity sessions in Pittsburgh brings me so much joy and I love to join in on celebrating such an exciting time for these sweet families.
